Our snug little bar is the perfect hideaway to grab a quick drink and tapa before you head out for dinner or to finish off your night, the traditional “hora del vermut”. Here at Vermut Bar it’s all about 3 styles of wine: vermouth basically a wine base with wormwood and any number of other botanicals so the combinations are endless, montilla-moriles wines mostly dry wines, similar in style to “sherry” ranging from finos, amontillados (literally “in the Montilla style” as this was the distinctive style of this region) and olorosos all made from a Pedro Ximenez grape base and demonstrate the versatility of this amazing grape, sherry wines thankfully these incredible wines have seen a comeback in recent times, we’ve got some beautiful manzanillas, finos, amontillados & olorosos to keep you coming back.

With 4 wines on tap we think we’ve got something for everyone – Zarro white vermouth, Zarro red vermouth, Alvear Oloroso and Mar de Cerros Fino and if you’ve got an hour or so to spare we have a further 20 Spanish vermouths by the glass, and over 20 sherries and Montilla-Moriles wines by the glass.  We’re keeping it simple with the food with a strong emphasis on cured fish, meats & cheeses which pair brilliantly with the drinks.
